Middle Son J and I were looking at the Digital TV Guide this morning when we saw Boondock Saints were on. It was the last half-hour of the movie but I’m like, “Oh my God. Put that on.” I saw it a long time ago. I couldn’t even remember too much what it was about. All I remember is that I really liked the movie and most of all, the Irish guys on there were like the HOTTEST guys I’d ever seen. Yeah, I know. They’re way too young for me, but I can look, right? J is like the biggest remote control hog on the planet. But he put the movie on so that he could see the tattoo on the Irish dude’s neck.
Believe it or not, J is getting yet another tattoo. He already made the appointment. I guess 4 (or is it 5) isn’t enough. When J got his first, after much pleading and begging from us not to do it, a guy at work said that he had a friend that couldn’t stop getting tattoos. He said that for his friend, getting tattoos was like eating Pringles. He was addicted and could not stop at one. Or even two or three. Maybe we should start charging J rent. If he’s gonna blow his money, I’d rather see it going to me and Big Daddy than to the tattoo parlor.
Anyway, back to those Saints. Watch the movie and celebrate St. Patty’s Day in style.
