Mr. Trump, You’re Hired!

Hmmm, after waiting years to produce a birth certificate to prove he was a natural born U.S. citizen (a requirement for holding the highest office in the country!), only “the Donald” could stir up enough fear, controversy, or trouble to force Obama to come up with something that appears to show that he was indeed born here.  As always, this inquiring mind has many questions:

Why the wait?

Is it that money does indeed really talk?

Are we to believe that someone in Mr. Obama’s position had that much trouble getting his hands on such a crucial document to dispel these disruptive rumors?

If  it does actually take that long for the POTUS to wade through red tape, what hope do we ordinary peeps have to access things we need, say like government health care, etc?

Does it take longer to produce a real birth certificate if you are really a U.S. born citizen, or to forge a convincing replica if you were not actually born here?

Is it better to have people focusing on the question of your origin of birth or honing in on the real issues of government corruption and pandering to rogue foreign leaders?

Now it appears we may need the extreme influence of Mr. Trump to get to the bottom of a new batch of questions. Although most of us Americans feel some degree of satisfaction that good has triumphed over evil and Osama bin Laden has gone to meet his 72 virgins–oh, wait–that’s for the good guys–we wonder why Obama has set himself up for more controversial questions.  Here are a few:

After almost 10 years of relentless searching, how does it happen that our most anti-military, foreign-ass-kissing president gets to claim victory for this military coup?

Why, after such an unbelievable feat being accomplished on his watch, would he so hastily dump the evidence into the depths of the Arabian Sea?

Is following Islamic burial tradition really going to deter these terrorists, who have nothing else on their agenda besides hatred and killing?

Why must we respect the dead body of the biggest mass murderer since Hitler while our young soldiers’ bodies are dragged through the streets and many of the victims of this monster could not even be recovered for proper burial in accordance with our traditions?

As Obama’s ratings plummet, was bin Laden served up as a sacrificial lamb by even more evil elements who wish to keep Obama popular and in power in order to preserve the one-world government dream?

In the scheme of things, bin Laden’s death is mostly a symbolic victory.  It will not bring the thousands of victims back.  It will not prevent countless others who have no jobs, dreams, or freedom to pursue more productive lives from joining terrorist groups.  Unfortunately, it will probably not keep my son and the children of other Americans from having to deploy to an insane lawless region of the world.  But I love to see good triumph over evil, and a villain delivered into hell where he belongs.  And I’d love Mr. Trump to continue asking the questions the rest of us want to know.

Hit the nail on the head with this post Leslie! Well said. I am going to share this post on my FB page!

Thanks, Paula. I am not necessarily adhering to any of these things–however, some sound more plausible than others and I’m willing to throw them out there. When something smells fishy, sometimes you need to dig through some garbage!

Firstly, Obama released his birth certificate in 2008. This was the same type of birth certificate any Hawaiian would present for anything that requires a birth certificate. Including the presidency. This hoopla regarding the “long form” certificate was predicated on the fact that Hawaiian public records officials are reluctant to release such documents to the public, and it really wasn’t worth the trouble to get an exemption until “The Donald” started distracting everyone from more important issues. So yeah, maybe he was responsible for its release, but not in the “Oh, crap, I better produce something!” sense. It was more of a “Shut the hell UP already, you moron!”

Now, to answer the rest of the questions–I don’t even need a styrofoam-haired failure for this part!

    1. Just because the President is diplomatic doesn’t mean he’s anti-military. I’d say President Bush was far more anti-military, considering he was happy to send soldiers to their deaths for nothing other than approval ratings and Dick Cheney’s profits.

2&3. The dude’s dead, and we can’t find a country willing to take the body. Additionally, burying him in the ground will create hallowed ground for other nutjobs to revere. Dumping him in the ocean solves this problem and saves time, because killing the leader of the nut brigade will already inflame his followers–we don’t need to be thought of as corpse desecrators on top of that (but really, what difference would it make now that we’ve brought jihad back in vogue). If it makes you feel better, some Islamic scholars are saying that the burial at sea wasn’t entirely halal anyway.

    4. Since Hitler? Try more recently. I’d wager he didn’t even pass up Slobodan Milosevic. At any rate, how does acting just like our enemies make us any better than them?

    5. Wait, what? So you not only believe that he was born outside the country but even at birth people were trying to fake his American birth so that like 50 years later he could be President, but you believe that Obama is working in league with a shadowy organization that controls al Qaeda in order to boost his approval ratings…? have you been watching Alex Jones?

Mom, I always thought you were too smart for conspiracy theories. I hope you feel better soon.

Number One, Chris, I’m just throwing out questions and possibilities, none of which I necessarily believe in full. I keep my mind open about the possibility of anything–even the very sliver of a chance that Obama doesn’t have a huge anti-American chip on his shoulder and therefore wants to ruin this country like his terrorist cronies Bill Ayers and Ayers’ evil wife. These are all just possible scenarios.

Number Two, I wrote this while having a three-year-old chattering on my lap and I realized after I posted it that there were many other murderous regimes out there–Saddam Hussein’s for one. I definitely should have said bin Laden was ONE of the significant mass murderers since Hitler. Some of the rest can be found in the ideologies you have currently embraced.

Number Three, brilliant son, is that I am smart. And so are you. But you have been brainwashed while I still keep an open mind. ❤

Chris… I just had to say something about you saying Donald Trump is a failure. The man is worth over 2 billion dollars and rakes in 50 million a year.. whether you agree with him or not he is FAR from a failure. idk i would probably consider him as HIGHLY successful.

Also, as for the whole Obama being born here… I have heard, and just find it weird, that his birth certificate says his father is “African” when in 1961 they would have considered him as “Negro” or “Black”…..idk if thats true or not but yeah..if it is true and the BC is fake then whoever made the fake really dropped the ball know what i mean………..alright thats all 😉

Les, I agree about the convenient timing and sketchy details about Osama’s assassination. While I can understand that having a burial ground for his followers to worship would be inadvisable, dumping him in the ocean so quickly is just bizarre…mafia-like….and absolutely disgusting too (I love the ocean!). I have to agree with Chris about Trump and the whole birth certificate thing though. His citizenship had already been established and Trump just keeps making a fool of himself as he usually does.

  4. 7 Chris May 3, 2011 at 4:07 pm

Wait, I’m the brainwashed one, and you’re open-minded? That may easily be the funniest thing I’ve read all week. The only thing it seems you’re open to are new conspiracy theories.

  5. 8 robinaltman May 3, 2011 at 9:31 pm

I can’t tell who I love more – you or Chris.

  6. 10 Kathy May 3, 2011 at 10:19 pm

Love this! And completely agree with you, Leslie! Sorry, Chris… I know both of you seem to think you know everything ;), but she is definitely making a point.

Producing documents as proof of anything is laughable. Any resourceful graphic designer can create any array of authentic looking official identification documents. I remain humbly skeptic when these or any other documents serve as proof of anything.

Trump IS pissed with many of the same things that are pissing off masses of Americans. Too bad that Trump has such an ego though, it tends to discredit what he does say.

It’s an awesome thing that your kids read your blog and are wise enough to formulate their own thoughts on subjects like these Les.

    Coolio.

Trump DOES have an amazingly inflated ego. And very bad hair. And in my wildest dreams I would have never thought he’d actually even enter my mind as someone who could help put this great country of ours on track. But after watching the bozos of the last decade or so who have not ONE clue about how to run a successful business (let alone the economy of an entire nation), the Donald is looking good. And he wouldn’t put up with any crap!! And if nothing else, he has too much vested in this country to want to see it fail.

oh les, there you go again. WELCOME BACK! we missed your rants. sigh. all seems right with the world again.

i think you ask some good questions. as always. i think the thing that bugged me most about obama’s speech on the night of bin laden’s death was how he made it all about him. “i did this. i did that.” it was so obviously an appeal to get approval points that it made me a bit sick. he should have given bush some credit for this victory as well. it just felt like he took a victory from the nation and made it all about himself.

    • 15 les@mamaneeds2rant May 4, 2011 at 10:04 am

Yes Consuella, the rants are still rumbling to get out!

It’s obnoxious how Obama takes credit for everything that was put in place before he even got into office. And worse, this feat came about using the very same methods he vilified the last administration for doing. From what I’ve read, this takedown all was helped by the use of Guantanamo prisoners (which he planned to close), aggressive interrogation (which he vowed not to use), and the Navy Seals (from where several members were actually prosecuted for punching a terrorist for killing Americans and hanging their mutilated corpses–http://amerpundit.com/2009/11/24/navy-seals-being-prosecuted-for-allegedly-punching-terrorist/) The HYPOCRISY of this administration is STUNNING!!!

I’d like to reply to Jason’s comments:

First, Donald Trump got his business from his parents. He ran it into bankruptcy twice, and only got back on his feet after his creditors obtained a controlling stake in his company in exchange for lower interest rates and fixed things themselves.

Second, Obama’s father was, in fact, African, in the sense that he was a Kenyan immigrant rather than the descendant of a slave. It’s not surprising that the birth certificate would reflect this.
